ZF #2020-0043: Public hearing to review the proposed Gibson Solar Farm Project, offer further direction on the Project, and direct staff to return to the June 8, 2023, Planning Commission meeting for a continued public hearing to consider a final recommendation to the Board of Supervisors on approval of the Project and certification of an Environmental Impact Report. The Project is for a Use Permit application for a large utility-scale solar energy system and battery energy storage facility that proposes to locate on an approximately 147-acre agriculturally-zoned parcel approximately 1.2 miles east of Esparto (APN: 049-100-035).
